Valentine’s Day is on its way and with it, an indulgent Barrel-Aged Stout fit ! We collaborated with Wandering Monsters Brewing out of Cincinnati, OH on a Barrel-Aged version of our beloved Red Velvet Cake Pastry Stout released in Fall 2022.
We added cocoa nibs for rich chocolate cake flavor, toasted coconut to create a cream cheese frosting sensation, and beet juice for striking visual impact. Then we rested it in bourbon oak barrels for nearly 2 years to further smooth out the edges of its 17.5% ABV. Its velvety decadence approaches perfection and serves as the perfect nightcap to toast with this Valentine’s Day.
