Mark Pechlivanos

I am a painter, photographer and designer living and working in the US..

I was born in Thessaloniki Greece, and moved to the US to pursue studies in art.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art from St Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

A lifelong fascination with colour, texture and form inspire my ideas, most of which are rooted in abstraction.

A preoccupation to isolate small unique elements in the world around us that usually remain unnoticed has led me to create new compositions highlighting their beauty and intricacies.

In the last 10 years or so, I have embraced technology in the creation of my art and this has led me to meld traditional to digital media in my work.
